May 09, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp (Amex:KOG), an oil and gas exploration and production company, announced on 8 May its financial and operating results for the first quarter 2008. For the quarter-ended 31 March 2008, the company recorded a net loss of USD2.6m (USD0.03 per basic and diluted share), when compared with a net loss of USD14.5m (USD0.17 per basic and diluted share) for the corresponding period in 2007. The company generated total revenues of USD2.0m for the first quarter 2008, as compared to USD2.1m generated for the corresponding period in 2007. For the first quarter 2008, adjusted EBITDA was approximately USD2,400 as compared to USD762,000 for the comparable period in 2007. According to the company, adjusted EBITDA was negatively impacted in the first quarter of 2008 by the repair work on producing oil wells.
