USDA-CO: South Carolina Closing Grain Bids

Columbia, SC - Friday, November 06, 2009 USDA-SC Dept Ag Market News


  
South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M.  Prices delivered to 
country elevators or processors.  New crop bids noted with (*).

US 2 Yellow Corn was 9 to 10 cents lower.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were mostly 17 to 19 cents lower; one location 27 lower.
US 2 Soft Wheat was too few to trend.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 17 to 19 cents lower.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat was 13 to 14 cents lower.
 
CORN: Country Elevators---3.42 at Kingstree; 3.82 at Hamer; 3.37 at 
Lynchburg; Processors 4.02 at Orangeburg 1; 3.97 at Orangeburg 2; 4.17 at 
Monetta; 4.12 at Sumter; 3.92 at Cassett.

SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---*8.98 at Anderson 8.73 at Kingstree; 9.20 at 
Hamer; 8.98 and *8.73 at Lynchburg; 8.98 at Orangeburg 2; Processors 
9.50 and *9.55 at Kershaw; 9.58 at Estill.

WHEAT: Country Elevators---No bid at Anderson; *4.17 at Kingstree; 3.27 and 
*4.62 at Hamer; *4.16 at Lynchburg; Processor---No bid at Columbia.
