Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary
Receipts: 2181 Week Ago: 2033 Year Ago: 9200
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold unevenly steady with
several barns in limited tests. Demand moderate to good for all classes.
Increased buyer demand for cattle weighing over 700 lbs. Numbers at several
barns have lightened with some ending coverage until late summer/early fall.
This week's supply was made up of 43 percent feeder steers, balance feeder
heifers. About 43 percent of total feeder supply was over 600 lbs.
