South Carolina Livestock Thursday Auctions 
Cattle and calves: At Darlington. Receipts: 35, week ago 77, year ago 89. As 
compared with previous Thursday, not enough for market test. Receipts include 
48% feeder steers under 600 lbs; 31% feeder heifers under 600 lbs; 2% feeder 
steers over 600 lbs; 9% feeder heifers over 600 lbs; 11% replacement cows

   Feeder steers and bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 one 220 lbs 115.00; 300-400 lbs 
100.00-105.00; 400-500 lbs 95.50-103.00; 500-600 lbs 81.00-91.00; one 705 lbs 
76.00.  Small 1-2 one 315 lbs 77.50; one 430 lbs 82.00.  Medium and Large 3 one 
460 lbs 88.00; 500-600 lbs 75.00-80.00.  Small 3 one 285 lbs 44.00, Jersey.
   Feeder heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 one 255 lbs 90.00; 300-400 lbs 88.50-
93.00; one 460 lbs 82.50; 500-600 lbs 77.00-78.00; one 750 lbs 71.50.  Medium 
and Large 3 400-500 lbs 68.50-73.50; one 685 lbs 68.00.   
   Stock cows: Small 1-2 790-835 lbs Young to Middle age cows 330.00-365.00 per 
head.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: One Medium 950 lbs cow with 120 lbs calf 595.00 per pair.

   Hogs: Receipts 112, week ago 216, year ago 295.
