Nov 08, 2009 (Sun Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Howard Finkelstein is probably best known as Help Me Howard, WSVN's legal expert to contact if you've got a beef with local government, condo commandos or your neighbor's relentlessly barking dog. Like many who do what he does on TV, Howard is a member of the Class of O.J. '95. But TV is only a sideline. As the Broward County Public Defender, he comes to the aid of poor people confronted by more serious issues, everything from misdemeanors to murder. Howard joked that something people might not know about him is, "I am short." This only goes to show that stature is not the measure of a big man. When company comes to town and I want to impress them I take them to... Runway 84 for Italian food or Udipe for vegetarian Indian food. Seven days, six nights, all expenses paid, my destination is... Hollywood Beach. I think it's the best beach anywhere and my favorite spot since as a teenager I would go their when skipping school. Calories be darned, my favorite meal is... Food is just fuel to me, so I have no favorite except cookies. I love cookies, lots and lots of cookies. A celebrity I'd be impressed to meet is... None. My experience with celebrities has been they are less than special and, most often, just lucky to be a celebrity. Same goes for me. Something about me people would be surprised to know is...
