Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending May 10, 2008. Total
estimated receipts 11,400, compared to 13,381 last week, and 15,182 last
year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher; bulls
steady to 1.00 higher; feeder classes 1.00 to 4.00 higher with most
increase noted on weights over 600 lbs. Replacement cows steady to 20.00
per head higher except late term cows steady to 20.00 per head lower.
