Canadian Mining's Subsidiary Canmin Mexico S.A. de C.V. Assembles Team for Phase 1

VANCOUVER, May 5, 2008 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Symbol: CNG - TSX.V

As reported, the Company is now organizing the phase 1 work program over the Raquel 3 concession lands, San Bernardo Project Sonora, Mexico.

Sonora has a wide range of mineral resources, both metallic and nonmetallic, highlighting their large deposits of copper and molybdenite, gold, silver, graphite, barite, tungsten, etc., which exploitation has placed Sonora as the number one mining state in the country.

Mr. Paquette CEO will be traveling to Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico to meet with the Company's lawyer Mr. Eduardo Robles of Tapia, Robles y Cabrera S.C. regarding Canadian Mining's subsidiary Canmin Mexico S.A. de C.V. to initiate the Company's requirements necessary to operate under Mexican law. We are pleased to be represented by Mr. Robles. Tapia, Robles was established in 1990 and the firm specializes in helping international businesses establish themselves in Mexico. Their practice concentrates in the fields of Commercial Law, Mining Law, Corporate Law, Foreign Investment Law, Administrative and Tax Litigation, In-Bond Industry, Banking Law, Real Estate Law and Public Utilities Law.

Mr. Edward Skoda, a Canadian Mining Company director, will be joining Mr. Paquette for the meetings in Hermosillo and a follow-up mine site inspection at the San Bernardo project. We are fortunate to have Mr. Skoda on our team as he obtained a Diploma in Mining Engineering Technology from the Haileybury School of Mines in Ontario in 1971. He has over 30 years experience in the mining industry in which time he has worked on many national and international projects. During the past 20 years, Mr. Skoda has worked as a consultant and in a supervisory capacity as a shift boss, superintendent, or project manager for various mining and exploration companies. Other projects include two years employment as the Senior Tunnel Inspector on a hydro project for Bechtel Canada Inc.

The team we are organizing in Mexico will move Canmin forward with the work program recommended in the NI 43-101 prepared by Mr. Marvin Mitchell P. Eng.
