BRIEF: Senior Neighbors sets Lunch and Learns

Nov 07, 2009 (Chattanooga Times Free Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Tuesday is the deadline to register for the free Lunch & Learn taking place Tuesday, Nov. 17, at noon at Alexian Brothers Senior Neighbors, corner of 10th and Newby streets.

"Taking Safer Steps" will be presented by Benchmark Physical Therapy's Jeannette Beach.

Ms. Beach will discuss ways to improve balance and muscle strength, reduce the risk of falls and how to respond to vertigo.

--Monday is the deadline to register for a free Lunch & Learn taking place Monday, Nov. 16, at 11:30 a.m. at Alexian Brothers Senior Neighbors on 10th Street.

"Outlook and Opportunities: 10 Reasons to be a Long-Term Bull," will be presented by Suzanne Burrell of Edward Jones.

Participants will learn about inflation, the difference between this recession and the Great Depression and how to prepare for what lies ahead.
