Karachi, May 08, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- Jamaat-e-Islami JI Sindh General Secretary Rashid Nasim has said that so-called enlightened moderation had pushed the country to poverty, price hike, unemployment, and lawlessness. Addressing a Dawaat Meeting organized by JI North Karachi on Wednesday, he said that people belonging to every walk of life had become victim of chaos and devastation due to the failure of rulers to implement Islamic laws in the country. He said that people were being compelled to commit suicides due to horrible price hike while children women were being forced to wait in long queue for hours in these hot days just to get a bag of wheat flour. He said that present system had increased the gap between rich and poor classes. He said that the country was passing through a crisis. He said that resolution of problems, peace and rest could be achieved only through following the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). JI leaders Tariq Mujtaba, Muhammad Yousaf and Zahid Askari were present on this occasion. |
