Nov 08, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A conference in Western Australia will look at the state's role in the timezone straddling several Asian nations that are export partners. Those attending will hear from Michael Chaney, chair of Woodside Petroleum and National Australia Bank, that China and India will potentially grow GDP by 100% over the years to 2020, and demand ever increasing amounts of Australian commodities. Chaney also argues that more schools need to teach Asian languages to facilitate cultural interaction with the export partners.
