Bids as of 11:30 a.m.; Subject to change
Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during May by rail or
barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars
per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods specified.
All other bids are for full May delivery.
July wheat futures closed 10-1/4 to 32 cents per bushel higher
compared to Wednesdays closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for May Portland delivery were not
available as most exporters were not issuing bids for old crop delivery.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for May
delivery trended 10 cents per bushel higher than Wednesdays noon bids
in following the higher Kansas City July wheat futures.
Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for May
delivery were not well tested but bids were indicated as 32 cents per
bushel higher compared to Wednesdays noon bids in reaction to the higher
Minneapolis July wheat futures.
Bids for US 2 barley for May delivery were not quoted today in a
very limited test. Most exporters were not issuing bids for barley for
old crop delivery.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 30 to 31-1/4 cents per cwt higher
than Wednesdays noon bids due to higher Chicago July corn futures.
